A final warning, too: the Tapu are but catchable later you've completed the main storyline of Sun and Moon, and so major spoilers follow below. Check out our complete Pokémon Sun and Moon walkthrough if you're still trying to cease it!

Tapu Koko is the poster kid of the Tapu, and likewise the first you'll see.
After you defeat the Elite 4 and Professor Kukui for the beginning time, a long cutscene will play every bit a celebration of your achievement, during which Lillie grabs you for a bit of time solitary - up at the Ruins of Conflict where you lot first met.
There, she'll tell you it's time for you to meet Tapu Koko properly and, later you touch the statue in the Ruins of Conflict, it'll come to boxing you.
You can catch it here or, if you knock it out, come back to challenge it once more after defeating the Elite Iv some other fourth dimension. Like all of the Tapu, information technology comes with the signiature motility Nature's Madness, which cuts the opponent's HP by 50%, or 75% when used equally a Z Move, so be careful!

Where to observe and how to catch Tapu Lele - the Ruins of Life
Going in order if Alolan islands, Tapu Lele is upwards next, and can be found inside the Ruins of Life, just beyond Memorial Colina and Akala Outskirts, where you starting time battled Kahuna Olivia in your K Trial.
Like all the others, the Water / Fairy-type Tapu Lele will but appear once you're Island Champion, and does and then when y'all touch the statue inside the Ruins.
In that location's a small Machamp Shove puzzle on your fashion inside, too.
Push the showtime right mitt boulder up into the hole; then the central boulder to the left of it needs to be pushed to the hole on its left side, and so you can push the boulder on the left side, at present in a higher place you, up into the adjacent hole, and you can progress.

Where to discover and how to grab Tapu Bulu - the Ruins of Abundance
Tapu Bulu is Grass / Fairy-blazon, and located in arguably the about hard-to-reach location correct in the deepest role of the Haina Desert.
Before entering the desert itself, you might have noticed an old man who gives you the advice that someone said something about ii-i-4-3, but that he had no clue what that meant. Well, that's the number of stacked rocks you lot need to run into as you have each exit to the next part of the desert, if you want to make it all the fashion to the Ruins of Affluence.
This translates to the following directions:
- Head Northward from the showtime exit, passing a stack of 2 rocks as you go.
- In the next expanse, caput clockwise around the big rocks in the centre until yous can head East, past a single small rock.
- There's only ane way to become in the next surface area with the small-scale tree, which is Due north.
- In the following area, cut beyond the uneven ground with Mudsdale Gallop to head East once again, past four pocket-sized stacked rocks.
- In the next, yous'll detect a pedestal with Psychium Z, but will then need to caput back out the same entrance, which takes you to a different area to the ane you lot came from - weird!
- From there, caput North past the stack of three rocks, and you lot'll accomplish the archway to the Ruins of Abundance.
That won't have you to every corner of the Haina Desert by any ways, but it does have you to the essentials, and for now nosotros're merely trying to catch Tapu Bulu, who appears later y'all affect the statue at the back of the ruins.
In that location'south some other Machamp Shove puzzle earlier you go there, though it'south a little simpler than the desert, at least. Push the correct-side bedrock up first, and so y'all tin can cross the cardinal path to the left, so button the top left boulder all the fashion up, and y'all can keep.

Where to find and how to catch Tapu Fini - the Ruins of Hope
Tapu Fini, the final of the Tapu and a H2o / Fairy-type, is fortunately much easier to become to than Bulu.
In that location's a Machamp Shove puzzle, just thankfully you already solved information technology when you lot came here the first time with Hapu back on your Island Challenge, so you can head straight within to challenge Tapu Fini when you're ready.
Touch the statue and it'll appear - simply be careful, Fini uses Aqua Ring, which restores a sixteenth of its health each turn.
This makes information technology a real pain to proceed at a low enough HP to take hold of, so in that location'southward a gamble of the battle getting long enough for it to run down its wellness and use Struggle - dissentious itself enough to knock itself out if you're not careful. Be ready for a slog, simply information technology'll exist worth it!
| Tapu Pokémon | Level | Blazon | Moves | Location |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tapu Fini | Lvl.60 | Water / Fairy | Nature's Madness (Z) Muddy Water Aqua Ring Hydro Pump | Ruins of Promise |
Now you're washed with the Tapu, why not follow upwardly on that Enigmatic Card given to you later on defeating the Elite Four, and hunt yourself some Ultra Beasts...
